The LG Splendor, a variant of the LG Optimus L7, is on its way to US Cellular according to documents from LG's website that were quickly spotted by Smartphenom before they were taken down. The product brochure reveals similar specs to the international Optimus L7 — a 4.3-inch 800 x 480 display, Android 4.0, and a 5-megapixel camera with 720p video recording.
The most important difference between the Splendor and the international model is the switch to a 1GHz Snapdragon S2-class processor, which may improve the phone's performance slightly over what we saw in our review of the Optimus L7. Another change is a bit less on-board storage — 2GB instead of 4GB — but since the phone has microSD card support, it's mostly a non-issue. The product brochure didn't contain any information on pricing or availability, but the device's accidental debut on LG's website likely means we'll see it soon.
