This Thursday is shaping up to be a sizable launch day for Verizon, with the already announced LG Intuition and now the Samsung Galaxy Stellar making their official debuts. The Galaxy Stellar is a mid-range smartphone complete with a 4-inch WVGA display, 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 3.2-megapixel camera, and support for Verizon's LTE network. Similar in appearance to last year's Droid Charge, the Stellar has a pointed "chin" that you will either love, hate, or perhaps even love to hate. The phone runs Android 4.0 with Samsung TouchWiz out of the box and includes a number of features for the business set: on-device encryption, VPN support, and full Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync support. Those interested in the Stellar will be able to get it for free after rebate with a new two-year contract starting on September 6th.
