HTC's flagship Windows Phone 8 device, known previously as the Accord, will reportedly be branded the HTC 8X when it ships later this year. We've seen two renders leaked, alongside some early specifications, but XDA-developers member Football claims HTC will use 8X as the final name for the Accord. In a Tweet, Football has posted an updated image of the handset alongside some fresh specifications.
The 8X is said to include a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 4.3-inch 720p Super LCD 2 display, an 8-megapixel camera, microSD card support, and NFC. The HTC 8X will also include Beats Audio for Windows Phone 8, a feature we detailed previously. HTC is holding a special press event on September 19th, where we're expecting the company to announce the final details on its Windows Phone 8 devices.
