Paul Vogel has a daunting task ahead of him. As the president of digital solutions for the US Postal Service, Vogel is in charge of leading what many see as a dying institution into the 21st century. Since assuming the position in May, Vogel has overseen the launch of a QR code rewards system and the development of new apps for Android and iOS, though as the Guardian reports, there's still plenty of work to be done. Last year, the Postal Service saw a loss of $16 billion, and with Congress still meddling over government spending, its financial future remains unclear. Vogel says he tries to run his office like a Silicon Valley startup, though he could use some extra help. "I just wish I had a thousand people to work on all of these ideas," he said.
