Seven months after CBS released its full-episode streaming app for iOS, the national broadcaster is adding Android and Windows 8 equivalents into the mix. And it isn’t stopping there; CBS is announcing that it plans to port the app, simply called CBS, to BlackBerry 10 by the end of the year.

We don't know why it took so long to bring the app to other platforms, but we do know that people with Android and Windows 8 devices will get the same streaming features as their iOS counterparts: namely, full next-day episodes of daytime and nighttime programming, with primetime programs becoming available eight days after airing. Meanwhile, CBS Connect second screen experiences for shows like CSI and Hawaii Five-O have been integrated into the iOS app, a feature that should be making its way over to Android later this fall.
