Google just announced a few new Google Play-edition tablets, but its own flagship device is also getting some attention today, in the form of a cosmetic refresh. The company has released a new white Nexus 7, which perfectly matches the already-available white Nexus 5. As with past white Nexus devices, the front face keeps the standard black styling while the back receives the new alternate color. For now, you can only get the white Nexus 7 in the 32GB Wi-Fi configuration — LTE or less storage isn't an option. You can order one now on Google Play, provided you're in the US, UK, or Japan. Nearly six months after launch, the 2013 Nexus 7 is still one of our favorite tablets, so if you're a fan of white devices this is definitely worth a look.

Google's Play store also began selling a new folio case for the Nexus 7 tablet with a built-in, adjustable kickstand. The case is made of a combination of polycarbonate and a soft elastomer. It supports two different standing configurations, and automatically puts the tablet to sleep when the cover is closed. It's available now for $49.99 in either black or bright red, both of which should compliment the new white Nexus 7 handsomely.
