iOS 7 officially has an untethered jailbreak. The comprehensive new tool, provided by the Evasi0n team, allows users to jailbreak all iOS devices running versions 7.0 to 7.0.4. The team also promises that the process can be done in five minutes. Be careful, though. Cydia app store creator Jay Freeman remarked on Twitter this morning that the version of Cydia included in the jailbreak is not official and therefore untested. Evasi0n will need to push an update to their tool after all the testing is complete.

Update: According to users on Reddit, the Evasi0n jailbreak comes bundled with a Chinese cracked app store known as Taig in addition to the unofficial version of Cydia.

Numerous members of the jailbreak community are crying foul about the inclusion. iOS hacker pod2g, one of the members of Evasi0n, states that they were not aware that Taig sold pirated apps. A full explanation is reportedly forthcoming:

Update 2: The Evasi0n team has released a statement explaining how they were approached by Taig to form a partnership that would bundle the Taig App Store with the jailbreak. They are now "deeply sorry and embarrassed" by the piracy exposed today:

In our agreement with Taig, we contractually bind them to not have piracy in their store. This was an extremely important precondition of working with them. In entering the agreement with them, we had hoped and continue to hope that our cooperation with Taig will improve the piracy situation in China... We are very upset that despite our agreement and review by their team, piracy was found in the store. It was not acceptable and they have been strenuously working to resolve the problem in good faith, and have removed all instances of it that we have brought to their attention.
