Microsoft has been gradually plugging the app holes in its Windows and Windows Phone ecosystem, and today is no different. The Mint banking app is now available for Windows 8.1 and Windows Phone users, complete with Live Tile integration. Mint provides access to over 20,000 bank, credit card, loan, and investment accounts, and the Live Tile integration surfaces an overview of financial accounts, bills, and money advice.
Like the Android and iOS apps before it, the Windows version allow Mint users to track and monitors accounts, categorize and organize spending, and enter or edit transactions. The Windows and Windows Phone version look almost identical to the recently redesigned Mint app for iOS 7. Mint is yet another big name app that has made its way to Windows 8 and Windows Phone, and another application to help further close the app gap that currently exists. Windows Phone also recently benefited from the relase of Instagram and Vine and further apps and games are expected to be released in the coming weeks, including Xbox Video for Windows Phone devices. Mint is launching in the Windows Phone Store and Windows Store today.
