US Vice President Joe Biden wants to tell you about what it's like to be him and how he sees the world. At least, that's the explanation he and the White House are giving for a new website that launched earlier today, "Being Biden," which will act as the home for a new Soundcloud audio series of the VP narrating some of his photo ops. "I wanted to start this audio series to give you all a closer look inside the life at the White House and the Vice Presidency," Biden says in his first recording. So far, just one other audio file has been posted, of Biden narrating a photo of himself at an annual charity dinner at a Delaware sport hunting club, then segueing into a call for stricter gun control in the wake of the Connecticut Sandy Hook elementary school shooting last December.

The new Soundcloud series isn't surprising given the Obama Administration's embrace of basically every major consumer digital publishing platform, from Instagram to Reddit. But it may fuel further speculation that Biden is gearing up to run for his boss's seat in 2016. Check out what it's like "Being Biden" for yourself here.
