Sure, you could fly to California this weekend for one of the biggest music events of the year, but thanks to the miracle of technology, you don’t even need to leave your couch. Coachella is once again being streamed for free on YouTube this year, and since each stage is being broadcast on its own channel, you can one-up the suckers in attendance by actually catching (some of) every single performance. The action starts at 3:30PM PT (6:30PM ET) on Friday, and even though the Digital Domain bankruptcy means chances aren't great for an ODB hologram during the Wu-Tang Clan’s set on Sunday, there are more than 60 bands — from Beach House and Purity Ring to Major Lazer, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and yes, Baauer — making it worth checking out, no matter what your proclivities are.

Update: The festivities have begun! YouTube is currently hosting three channels covering different stages. You can take your pick below, or follow along on YouTube's Coachella page.
