After the Boston bombings that left three dead, one Reddit user started /r/findbostonbombers, a subreddit that aims to assist the FBI in identifying the person or people responsible for the attack. As BuzzFeed FWD reveals, the subreddit wasn't started by a Bostonian, or even an American — instead, it was a 23-year-old poker player from England. "People were already speculating on suspicious people in the crowds," says the Brit, who is only identified by his username Oops777, explaining why he decided to create the page. "The worst case scenario is we waste our time, but the best is that we find something the FBI missed — which is why all suspicious information that isn't ruled out is sent to the FBI."
