Earlier this week the new Man of Steel trailer made a real impression, but it's not the only upcoming film that's grabbing people's attention. Take a look below for our round-up of some of the week's most notable trailers.

RIPD

Jeff Bridges and Ryan Reynolds star in this adaptation of the comic book Rest In Peace Department. Reynolds is a police officer who is shot in the line of duty — and then finds himself recruited for a very special kind of task force. It opens July 19th.

Star Trek Into Darkness

It seems like we've been waiting for JJ Abrams' sequel to Star Trek for ages at this point (and we still don't know who Benedict Cumberbatch may really be playing). The new trailer shows us a little bit more, but we'll have to wait until the movie hits theaters in May to see it in all its glory.

The Lone Ranger

Johnny Depp is Tonto and Armie Hammer (the Winkelvii from The Social Network) is the titular character in the latest film from Pirates of the Caribbean director Gore Verbinski. It opens July 3rd.

Byzantium

Director Neil Jordan visited the world of the undead with his adaptation of Interview With the Vampire, and now he's taking another trip with Byzantium. The film stars Saoirse Ronan (The Lovely Bones, Hanna) and will be arriving in theaters on June 28th. It's also screening at this year's Tribeca Film Festival — and we'll be there to take a look.
