It's hard to think of another fast food chain that's shown the same fervor for social media as Taco Bell. So it would only make sense that the company responsible for the Doritos Locos Taco has now adopted SnapChat. Taco Bell announced the latest facet of its online identity via Twitter — another social network from which it has obsessively promoted its menu.
We're on @snapchat. Username: tacobell. Add us. We’re sending all of our friends a secret announcement tomorrow! #Shhh

Taco Bell says it will share a "secret announcement" with its legion of SnapChat followers at some point today. Predictably, it didn't take long for users to start bombarding the restaurant chain with messages. We suspect some of the photos and video being sent to Taco Bell aren't fit for republishing, but below is just one example of what's currently being shared.
@tacobell Do you appreciate my effort?!?! twitter.com/liizbit/status…

Taco Bell previously demonstrated its keen understanding of social marketing with a commercial based around user-uploaded Instagram photos. Thankfully the very nature of SnapChat makes it unlikely that your contributions will be reproduced elsewhere.
