Microsoft just unveiled its next-generation Xbox, and in addition to the console itself, the company also revealed some of the games that will be coming to the platform. Electronic Arts announced a quartet of sports games, including Madden NFL 25, NBA Live 14, EA Sports UFC, and the previously revealed FIFA 14. The titles will be powered by the brand new EA Sports Ignite game engine. "All four will launch in the next 12 months," said EA's Andrew Wilson. "All four will be revolutionary." EA says that the games will receive some sort of Xbox One-exclusive content, which will be revealed in the "coming months."

As we previously reported, Turn 10 Studios' racing series will also be among the console's early titles, with the Xbox-exclusive Forza Motorsport 5 available at launch. Alan Wake developer Remedy Entertainment was also on hand to unveil Quantum Break, a title that blends the blends live-action television with gaming, though the announcement was lacking in solid details. And as expected, Activision announced that the upcoming Call of Duty: Ghosts will be coming to the console, and the publisher also revealed a new trailer for the Infinity Ward-developed game. While the title is coming to several platforms, the Xbox One version will receive some exclusive content in the form of downloadable content. More Xbox One titles will be announced at E3 next month.

Microsoft says that the console will see more than 15 exclusive games in its first year, including eight brand new franchises, and company VP Phil Harrison told Eurogamer that Microsoft is investing a staggering $1 billion to make it happen.
