eBay Now is only available in a handful of cities, but if you happen to live in one of those locales, using the same-day delivery service just got a bit easier. The company today released a redesigned, iPhone 5-ready iOS app, and announced plans to roll out a dedicated Android app "in the coming weeks." In the same timeframe, the company plans to expand its delivery perimeter to include the San Francisco Peninsula, Queens, and Brooklyn.

Aside from (finally) properly scaling to Apple's 4-inch Retina display, eBay Now has also seen other changes that make the service more pleasant to use. Now you can pay with a credit card — or your PayPal account — immediately when placing an order rather than handing it over to the delivery valet when your items show up. eBay Now is also letting customers browse for items while another same-day order is still being delivered. You'll need to wait until receiving it before actually finalizing another purchase. We're not sure who's going to be calling on the service multiple times in one day; there's a $5 delivery charge after your first order, after all. But the option's there if you should for some reason need it.

Update: The original version of this story said that a second order can be placed while an initial eBay Now purchase is still being delivered. Customers must wait for delivery before finalizing another order.
