Wonder what makes Glass tick? So did electrical engineer Star Simpson and software engineer Scott Torborg, who took their Torx drivers and spudgers to Google’s headset in order to find out. There aren’t a whole lot of surprises inside the teardown — Glass is powered by a dual-core TI OMAP4430, has a custom Synaptics touchpad, and requires some shredding in order to get at its lithium-ion battery. But if you’re curious about how Google put it all together, the photos of the dissected device are definitely worth a look.
