Twitter's short video sharing service, Vine, is coming to Windows Phone 8. Nokia revealed the addition alongside its Lumia 1020 launch on Thursday, and a Twitter spokesperson has confirmed to The Verge that the app is coming to Windows Phone 8. There's no word on exactly when it will be made available, or whether Twitter itself is building the app, but a spokesperson says, "We can confirm that Vine will be coming to Windows Phone."

Vine originally debuted on the iPhone in January, allowing users to share short six-second videos to Twitter and beyond. It has inspired some unique videos, and played a role in marketing movies too. It's the latest big-name app to commit to Windows Phone, and follows the announcement of Path and Flipboard.
