The Moto X is set to be revealed very soon, but it's already far from being a well-kept secret. Thanks to prolific phone leaker @evleaks and The Unlockr, the phone's basic colors, contours, and stock Android operating system are now all but confirmed thanks to leaked press shots. (Lo and behold, the press shots reveal a device remarkably identical to the one that Eric Schmidt showed off earlier this month.) While the press renders show black and white base models, customers will be able to choose from a variety of colored backs and trims to customize the phone's look.
There's also little mystery left about the handset's guts; As Android Police reports, and as The Verge largely confirmed earlier this week, the device will feature a dual-core 1.7GHz Snapdragon processor, 2GB of RAM, a removable Kevlar rear shell, and a 2200mAh battery. Stay tuned for the final word on the Moto X when Motorola officially unveils it on August 1st in New York City — we'll be there.
