Apple is hosting a sale on iTunes for many of the biggest blockbuster movie series around, and some of the deals may be too good to pass up. A number of complete film series are available for $9.99 as a digital box set, including The Lord of the Rings trilogy, The Matrix trilogy, the Austin Powers trilogy, and all four Lethal Weapon films. For 10 dollars more, iTunes is also offering trilogies of The Godfather, Spider-ManBack to the Future, and Jurassic Park — though, you wouldn't be faulted for only wanting the original film when it comes to that last set anyway.

The movies are available at the same price for both their HD and SD versions, though viewers outside of the US will be out of luck — the sales are almost entirely available exclusively inside the States. A few other film sets and double features are on sale as well, though not all of the movies and deals are of the same caliber as those listed above. Apple hasn't acknowledged how long the sale will last for, so get ready to make some impulse buys the next time you open up iTunes.

Update: While all eight Harry Potter films were briefly available for $9.99, the set's price has since increased to $59.99. Sets for Lord of the Rings and The Matrix have seen a price increase as well — both are now selling for $17.99.
