Motorola's Moto X just hit AT&T's shelves last Friday, and this week it's Verizon's turn. Motorola's Punit Soni announced last weekend that the X would arrive on other carriers "in days," and today Verizon confirmed that customers will be able to purchase it online starting on August 29th. Those that want to buy it in person will have to wait longer, however: Verizon says that in-store availability will be in the "coming weeks." Unfortunately, Verizon buyers won't have the customization options available to AT&T customers and will only be able to choose between white or black versions of the phone. As with AT&T, Verizon is asking $199.99 on contract for the Moto X, putting it squarely against the Samsung Galaxy S4, HTC One, and iPhone 5. It's still not clear when Sprint or T-Mobile will release the device, but all four major carriers have committed to offering it this year.
