Today, Twitter announced a new interface change for its iOS and Android apps that makes entire conversations between users more visible, rather than showing single tweets at a time. The home screen will now display the most recent three tweets in any conversation, expanding to show the full back-and-forth when tapped. Conversations will also be marked by a vertical blue line to indicate non-chronological tweets. The update also makes it easier for users to report tweets as abusive from the web or mobile interface, a feature that had been specifically requested after recent harrassment controversies. The changes will begin rolling out to mobile users today.
