Nokia hasn't announced a press event yet, but it looks like the company may be planning to introduce its 6-inch Windows Phone on September 26th. Twitter account Evleaks, who has an accurate history on devices and launch dates, claims Nokia will unveil its Lumia 1520 later this month. The date coincides with the day the company is expected to launch its 10.1-inch "Sirius" Windows RT tablet. The Lumia 1520 has leaked on several occasions, revealing a 6-inch 1080p display, a polycarbonate body, and a camera that takes 5- and 16-megapixel photos.

Nokia's Lumia 1520 will also ship with the latest version of Microsoft's Windows Phone 8 software, that includes support for 1080p displays, a rotation lock, and a new Driving Mode feature. If Nokia choses to launch both its Windows RT tablet and new 6-inch Windows Phone alongside each other then we'll likely get a first glimpse at the company's plans to offer Windows across a variety of display types before the company acquisition closes in 2014. Meanwhile, Microsoft will unveil Surface 2 and Surface Pro 2 tablets at a launch event on September 23rd.
