Apple has long allowed Windows users to synchronize mobile Safari bookmarks with Internet Explorer, but it's now opening that functionality up to more browsers. The updated iCloud Control Panel for Windows includes bookmark syncing between your iOS devices and the Windows versions of Chrome and Firefox.
First spotted by Apple Insider, the extra options mean the majority of Windows users will be able to take their bookmarks with them without resorting to using a third-party browser like Chrome for iOS. It also means that PC users can enjoy far greater freedom of browsers than those with Macs can — there's no bookmark syncing between iOS Safari and the OS X versions of Chrome or Firefox.
