Earlier this year Adobe turned Creative Suite into a subscription-only line of products, but it appears some users weren't happy with the new pricing schemes. The company has now responded with a package aimed specifically at photographers, offering them the tools they're most likely to want for $9.99 a month. The new "photography program" bundles Photoshop, Lightroom 5, Behance membership, and 20GB of cloud storage. Previously, users would have had to pay $49.99 per month for the entire Creative Suite, or spend $19.99 a month for Photoshop alone.
Unlike some recent discounts, Adobe is stressing that this is "not an introductory price"; users that sign up at this subscription level will not have their pricing raised at a future date. However, the offer itself is limited. Potential customers will need to sign up by December 31st of this year, and they must own a copy of Photoshop CS3 or higher. Still, for qualifying customers that already pay for a Photoshop subscription, having their monthly cost halved will no doubt be a welcome change.
