CES is full of celebrities, but 50 Cent is actually here as a company founder. When weather diverted his flight from New York to Detroit, he ended up spending 12 hours in the airport, flying to Los Angeles, and driving four hours to get to Las Vegas. He does interviews, meetings, and booth appointments for his headphone company SMS Audio, a competitor to Beats by Dre.
50 Cent is pushing his latest headphones, which include a Star Wars-themed line and his Sport Audio collection, which is endorsed by New York Knick Carmelo Anthony. He skipped lunch in order to stop by The Verge trailer for an interview on the trends of CES 2014 and how the electronics show has changed.
