Apple's professional customers in Europe will soon be able to pick up a new workstation for the first time in close to a year. The Mac Pro was discontinued in the region after the EU amended a regulation relating to unprotected fans, but Apple's recent overhaul of the system has evidently resolved the issue; online Apple Stores in the UK and elsewhere now list an expected shipping date of February for the diminutive powerhouse. French site Mac Generation, meanwhile, has posted an alleged order notification that lists the shipping date as tomorrow, January 14th. Apple appears to have decided it was better to hold off for the launch of the new Mac Pro rather than fix the problem with its predecessor — now European Mac users will have to decide whether the tower's unorthodox design was worth the wait.
