OK, so here's the deal. We were outside the trailer filming a segment for tomorrow's First! (among a few other things) and all of a sudden we heard a faint buzz off in the distance. And then it grew. It grew louder as the sky darkened. Passersby looked up in curiosity, confusion, and later worry. The cloud soon revealed itself to be a swarm of evil drones. Some thought to run away in panic; most made sure to Snapchat first. Like heroes in the night, our brave Vergecasters took to their trusted mounts and flew on drone dragon copter... things... off in the night to save our fair convention, city, county, state, continent, hemisphere, world, etc.
Needless to say, we're very sorry and The Vergecast will be an hour late tonight.
