Deadline reports that FX is in the process of developing Alan Moore and Eddie Campbell's classic comic series From Hell into a series. Details are currently thin, but the series will reportedly be closer to the source material than the extremely liberal 2001 version starring Johnny Depp and Heather Graham.
From Hell, considered one of the finest graphic novels ever produced, was originally released in serial form between 1989 and 1996. The work follows the serial murders of Jack the Ripper, but also investigates whether or not the murders were part of a larger coverup. No word on potential casting, but we look forward to this eventually reaching the small screen.
