Dan Seifert takes a hands-on look at Samsung's Galaxy S5 at MWC 2014 in Barcelona.
Physical differences between the S5 and last year's S4 are minimal, but one obvious change is the dimpled removable rear cover. The S5 also features like a fingerprint and heart rate scanner on the front and back, respectively. The heart rate monitor is used by Samsung's upgraded S Health app, which now contains an exercise coach, pedometer, and integration with other fitness apps.
The Galaxy S5 spec sheet features a 2.5GHz quad-core processor, 5.1-inch display, and 2800mah battery that Samsung claims will best last year's S4 by 20 percent - a claim we look forward to testing in a future review.
