First trailer for 'Fargo' TV series pours on the dark humor

It looks like Fargo has lost none of its dark humor in its transition from film to television. We're getting our first real look at the 10-part FX series courtesy of a new trailer that shows Martin Freeman taking on the role so wonderfully crafted by William H. Macy in the 1996 Coen brothers' film. The duo has given the show its blessing as executive producers, though they're not directly involved in the story. Billy Bob Thornton gives a reasonably creepy vibe to the whole affair, while the memorable "midwest" accent is back thanks to Breaking Bad's Bob Odenkirk and the rest of the cast. Consider our interest piqued — the show premiers on April 15th. If you want to see a bit more of the show, check out the 11 unusual teasers FX released earlier this month.
