Toy Company Mattel is best known for its barbies and for bringing the characters of movies such as Toy Story off the big screen and into kids' hands. Toy guns, however, are widely considered Hasbro's domain, as the competitor is responsible for both Nerf blasters and the Super Soaker water gun. But three years ago, a Mattel toy designer by the name of Scott Derman was given an opportunity to launch a brand new line of outdoor toys for boys, reports FastCo.Design.
