The latest trailer for HBO's The Leftovers is all about anger. Throughout the 35-second clip, "anger" is flashed on screen numerous times along with the other four stages of grief: denial, bargaining, depression, and acceptance. The text is surrounded by scenes that underline the despair, anguish, and gloom felt by locals as they cope with being spared by The Rapture. Not everyone was so lucky; the series apparently begins with 2 percent of the world's population already wiped out. It's not as long as the original trailer, but it's just as effective. A brooding cover of Fleetwood Mac's "Dreams" only adds to the melancholy vibe. The Leftovers marks Damon Lindelof's return to television. He's serving as showrunner for the series — based on Tom Perrotta's novel of the same name — and co-wrote the pilot, which will premiere on HBO June 29th at 10PM ET.
