A trilogy of films expanding James Cameron's Avatar universe are going to hit movie theaters in the coming years, but that isn't the only place you'll see the Na'vi — according to Variety, Cameron is in talks with famed live performance artists Cirque du Soleil to create an Avatar-based show. President and CEO of Cirque du Soleil Daniel Lamarre announced the collaboration this morning and said that it would make its debut in late 2015, about a year before the first Avatar sequel will hit theaters.

"Over the years, I have discovered the extraordinary talents and imaginations of both the artists and the creative forces behind Cirque du Soleil," said James Cameron in a statement. "I know we share the common goal of bringing audiences to another level of entertainment experiences. I look forward to doing just that on this project." There's no details yet on exactly what the show will consist of, but we're guessing there will be a number of Cirque du Soliel performers wearing blue paint for this one.
