Even as a two-dimensional character, Frank the rabbit remains an unsettling sight. CineFix pays tribute to cult classic Donnie Darko in the latest installment of 8-bit Cinema. Drawing inspiration from '80s Japanese role playing games, the three-minute-long clip highlights some of the movie's most iconic moments, including the protagonist's first fateful meeting with Frank and the burning of Jim Cunningham's home. Watch out for a glimpse of 8-bit Cinema's reinterpretation of The Shining during a vignette at the movies, and the fantastic chiptune rendition of "Mad World" towards the end.
