Add another two to the list: Google co-founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin have successfully completed the ice bucket challenge. And like Apple CEO Tim Cook, they did it in front of a huge crowd of spectators. Apparently Silicon Valley employees really like seeing their bosses get drenched with freezing cold water.
Per the challenge's rules, anyone called out by someone who's completed it has 24 hours to do the same, or that person must donate money towards the fight against amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella started that clock for Page on Wednesday, and it just wouldn't have been right for Sergey to let him go it alone. In the clip, Sergey even slips in a lighthearted jab at Nadella. Numerous other big-name executives, celebrities, and probably many of your Facebook friends have taken the ice bath in recent days — all in the name of charity and finding new ways to treat and ultimately one day cure ALS.
