When my boss Nilay Patel asked me to make stuff for hack week, a compilation of his best camera appearances was my first thought. In the past three years at The Verge, he's done a lot: from honking horns at CES, to commandeering huge amphibious boats, and even getting ice dumped on his face.
None of these videos are designed to pad out this list to make it seem like I'm not just putting a story on The Verge about how this one time Nilay was in a band called The Heaven Seventies that made the sexiest music video I've ever seen. That's definitely not what's going on here.

Ice Bucket Challenge
Sadly this category only has one entry, but it's a good one. Watch Nilay get iced (is that a thing?) by a devilishly devious expat. At this point in the list, shit is about to get real.
