Colin Farrell says he'll be in 'True Detective' season two

Colin Farrell has told Ireland's Sunday World that he will be starring in True Detective season two. The show will reportedly be shot around Los Angeles, and Farrell says that "I know it will be eight episodes and take around four or five months to shoot."

If you're honest with yourself, you'll admit that #TrueDetectiveSeason2 is in the running for most popular meme of 2014. You could put any image with two people in it, append the hashtag, and you have instant comedy gold. Or at least you have the linguistic shell of comedy gold, but actually as empty on the inside as the meaning of our very lives. As Rust Cohle points out in season one, "certain linguistic anthropologists think that religion is a language virus that rewrites pathways in the brain."

Hard not to think the same doesn't apply to memes. But those memes are about to get a little less creative — because if Farrell's confirmation pans out, you'll have to include him from now on.
