The trend over the last few seasons at Apple and Google has been to hire fashion industry execs to add some flair to existing device lines. But seeing as Editor-in-chief of Vogue magazine Anna Wintour was spotted tapping away at an honest-to-goodness flip phone (is that a Samsung? Nokia?) at the US Open last night, clearly these tech giants have a ways to go. To be fair, Wintour has dabbled in smartphones in the past, but from the looks of it, that might just be a seasonal trend. Or maybe she's researching normcore.
