Looks like Qualcomm has all-but confirmed that the Snapdragon 810 has been dropped by Samsung:
Wireless chipmaker Qualcomm said Wednesday that it is cutting its financial outlook for the next two quarters as its Snapdragon 810 chip was dropped by a large customer.
This makes me worried for other Android flagships this year. Samsung has their own Exynos chips to fall back on (for better or worse), but HTC, LG, and others have no real choice but to use Snapdragon processors. Hopefully HTC and others can figure out a way to deal with the heat issues of the 810 without major thermal throttling - I guess the next few months will tell.
