Parents of the world: Kanye West is just like you. He, too, hates games with in-app purchases.

Kanye might have seen a few unpleasant surprises on his credit card bill last night, as he took to Twitter air his grievances about free-to-play iOS games. It seems he and Kim Kardashian's two-year old daughter North likes paying to win.

Surprise App Store purchases are no secret to parents who let their kids play with phones and tablets. Apple even settled a class action lawsuit last year over the issue, paying out $35.2 million to 37,000 customers and offering refunds for unauthorized purchases made by kids. The company also updated its App Store to replace the deceptive "Free" moniker on download buttons with "Get." Unfortunately for Kanye and Kim, none of that seems to be stopping North from "enhancing" her games with a few innocent, in-app purchases.

Ironically, Kim Kardashian's successful Hollywood app is making millions off of in-app purchases. The game lets you live like a celebrity by spending (real) money on (virtual) things. She defended the game earlier this year to Today after complaints from parents about unauthorized charges, saying it was their responsibility to control the purchases. "You just have to make sure that your parental controls are all set," said Kim, "I think you just have to be responsible, and don’t have your credit card linked to where your kid can just spend if they want to, or ask permission."
