A new report from Bloomberg is highlighting recent cyberattacks from Russian hackers, among them a security breach of the House of Representatives' email system. According to the news service, citing a person familiar with the matter, a group was able to access lawmakers' communications.

A House spokesperson reportedly declined to comment, and the full extent of the damage from the incident isn't clear, but it's one in a series of recent government hacks connected to Russia. Both the State Department and White House have been compromised, and a malware campaign tied to Russia has been named as a possible culprit.

The Bloomberg report notes that the intruders are also linked to other prominent hacks, including a breach of the Warsaw stock exchange last October, and a French TV station in April.
