In a bid for appeal among millennials, two presidential candidates you probably know very little about are promoting Uber's new kitten delivery stunt. In an ugly race, at least Republicans and Democrats can join hands as part of Uber's brand.
Republican nominee John Kasich and Democratic nominee Martin O'Malley — candidates who happen to be polling very low compared to the competition — both took to Twitter today to celebrate National Cat Day with the help of UberKITTENS:
Just had some special visitors to #TeamKasich HQ thanks to @Uber on #NationalCatDay #UberKittenspic.twitter.com/uTRgjSDJTO

Thx @Uber_Maryland for bringing these most adorable @BARCS_SHELTER kittens to the campaign today!#NationalCatDay pic.twitter.com/BSCX2Wxng0

Synergy!
This isn't the first time politicians have jockeyed to show support for Uber, though. After the company hired longtime Democratic operative David Plouffe last year, Republican National Committee Chairman went out of his way to align himself with Uber against taxi unions. Kittens are just a little more fun than policy.
