Pope Francis has some advice for families, if you want it: stop staring at your smartphones while you're supposed to be eating asparagus.

Leave a message for the pope

During an address at St. Peter's Square in Vatican City last week, the Pope spoke about the importance of eating dinner together as a family — while maintaining vigorous eye contact. "A family that almost never eats together, or that never speaks at the table but looks at the television or the smartphone, is hardly a family," he said, according to the Los Angeles Times.

Sure, sure. For years we've heard variations on this quote from dozens of people, including the stars of all of these frozen pizza commercials. But here's a question for Francis: what if I was trying to stream your upcoming album during dinner?
