The Fast and Furious series is already a superhero franchise, more or less, and now it's looking to become a full cinematic universe. Speaking to Variety, star and producer Vin Diesel says the FF team is in the early stages of developing both sequels and spinoff films. To quote Diesel himself, "We've written out story lines for various characters... We've been playing with it for a long time. It's a very rich property and we're committed to treating it with a lot of class."

No word on who the films would center around, but Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has been very vocal about wanting to do a spinoff based on his baby oil-laden military character Luke Hobbs. Meanwhile, our own Chris Ziegler just mapped out his dream Netflix series called Tej's Garage. It's probably not that.

To quote Diesel more succinctly, "It's a very rich property."

Yes. Yes it is.
