Presidential candidate Jeb Bush has been performing less than glowingly in recent polls, but the campaign has one plan to right the ship: an ebook.
The Washington Post reports that Bush will this week release Reply All, a look at his time as Florida governor through hundreds of curated emails. But those hoping for a peek behind the curtain may be disappointed. Rather than any personal dealings, the emails apparently focus in on Bush's wonky side. The Post cites page 430 of 730, where Bush explains he hopes readers "enjoy reading about medical liability tort reform, because it was one of my top priorities for 2003."
That may not do much to quiet the critics — Donald Trump, prominently — who've accused Bush of being too "low-energy" to appeal to voters. But it will likely, at least, be a safe release of emails: in February, Bush released emails from his time as governor that included social security numbers of some constituents.
