Can Verizon please release a phone that's smaller than a tablet again?

I know, you'll say that's what the manufacturers are making, but they only make what sells (mostly.) that and they can fit more specs into the bigger devices cheaply.

But surely Verizon can throw a bone to those of us that don't care to watch Netflix on our phones; that just want to use them as, well, phones. some texting, some smart functions, but not portable tv's. I guess the huge phone works for the old folks and purse-carriers, but it's getting difficult to slide the thing into a jean pocket.

The Sony Xperia Z5 compact exists, but not for Verizon users. And don't tell me to try another carrier. I want my phone to actually work outside big cities.
