R&B legend Erykah Badu is working on a new mixtape called But U Caint Use My Phone, and she just shared new single "Phone Down" by playing it live from her car on Periscope. She announced this afternoon that she'd share the mixtape's second single by broadcasting live at 7PM ET, and she didn't disappoint: Badu drove around Las Vegas, sang along as "Phone Down" blasted from the vehicle's speakers, and talked to people on the street. She was wearing a delightful hat. If you want to hear "Phone Down" for yourself, you can watch a replay of the stream here.

The tape's first single was her cover of Drake's smash "Hotline Bling," which she uploaded to SoundCloud at the beginning of October. But U Caint Use My Phone will be Badu's first major release since 2010's New Amerykah Part Two (Return of the Ankh), but it doesn't have a release date yet.
