The Force Awakens is back with another trailer. This time, Disney's giving us a look at the film's first TV spot. More importantly, this trailer isn't just made up of clips we've seen before — the ad features shots and a voiceover we've never seen before.
Sounds like someone has the blood of legends in their veins
The most important new detail here is the voiceover: "I have lived long enough to see the same eyes in different people. I see your eyes. I know your eyes." The voice — which is that of Academy Award-winning actress Lupita Nyong’o, who plays Maz Kanata — certainly seems to be linking one of the two new heroes in this film to the last generation. Going off of the shots, we'd guess it's Rey (Daisy Ridley) who shares the same eyes as some well-known character from the original trilogy.

Other than that, there's a brief glimpse at a dogfight between the First Order and the Resistance. From everything we've seen so far, it looks like J.J. Abrams and his team might have nailed the aerial combat scenes.
This TV spot, which was released exclusively by Twitter itself, comes just days after a new international trailer gave us our best look yet at the movie.
Star Wars: The Force Awakens hits theaters December 18th.
