NASA is now accepting applications for its astronaut program

If you want to be a space explorer, you’re one step closer to quitting your day job. NASA is now accepting applications for its astronaut program. It's the first time the space agency has opened up applications since 2011. If you think you have what it takes to break free of the bonds of Earth's gravity and live in the cold, harsh vacuum that engulfs our tiny planet, then you can apply online at USAJobs.gov. Applications will be accepted through February 18th.

But be warned, NASA doesn't let just anybody be an astronaut. There are some stringent requirements applicants must meet. Sean O'Kane and I decided to see if we have what it takes to be astronauts ourselves. Check out how we fared in the video above.
