The latest expansion for GTA Online somehow makes the game even more ostentatious. Called "Executives and Other Criminals," the update is one of the biggest for the game yet, introducing not only new content like vehicles and weapons, but also some new game modes that change up the experience quite a bit.
Chief among the new additions is the ability to run your own criminal organization — if you have $1 million or more in your account, you'll be able to start your own gang, which includes hiring up to three other players to serve as your personal bodyguards. The update also introduces a new job network, so that you can find bodyguard gigs to earn some extra cash, which includes an actual in-game salary.
To go along with the option to become a crime lord, the expansion also introduces some new game modes, including executive deathmatch, where crime organizations can fight against each other, and extraction, where bodyguards must save their employer from a crashed jet before a rival team gets to them. Other new modes have you robbing convenience stores as fast as possible, and trying to steal cars that add up to a specific cash value.
Perhaps most exciting, though, are the new goods you can buy. "Executives and Other Criminals" introduces luxury yachts, which function much like an apartment, except they can move to different locations and come equipped with a service staff and "an anti-air defense system to help protect against unwanted attacks." You can also buy one of those fancy stilt houses in Vinewood Hills — complete with a 10-car garage — and fly around in two new helicopters, though neither is made of solid gold. Oh, and there's also a limo with a turret attached to it.
"Executives and Other Criminals" is available now as an update for the GTA Online on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
